Zeth pays people to record everyday tasks for robotics research. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with and the choices you have.
1. Who we are
Zeth is operated by [Company legal name], [registered address] ("Zeth", "we"). Contact us about privacy at [privacy contact email].
2. What we collect
- Waitlist details: email address, country, and for robotics teams, company, use case and data needs.
- Trainer account details: first name, country, the country your connection comes from (for region confirmation) and Solana wallet address.
- Footage you submit: video of your hands doing a task, plus file details such as length, resolution and size. Audio is removed.
- Usage data: pages visited and buttons clicked, collected with privacy-friendly analytics that don't use cookies for advertising.
- Technical data: IP address and device information, used for security, fraud prevention and confirming your region.
3. How we use it
- To run the waitlist and tell you when missions open.
- To review clips, pay you in USDC and confirm you're paid the right regional rate.
- To prevent fraud, duplicate submissions and abuse.
- To license reviewed footage to robotics and AI teams, as described in the Contributor License.
- To improve Zeth and understand how people use it.
4. Footage and your privacy
Missions ask you to film only your hands and the task. Before footage is shared with any customer, audio is removed and faces, screens and readable personal details are blurred. Clips that show faces or personal details are rejected.
Footage shared with customers is not linked to your name, email, phone number or wallet address.
5. Who we share data with
- Robotics and AI teams that license the dataset (footage and labels only, never your contact details).
- Service providers that host our site, store data, send email and process payouts, under contracts that limit their use of your data.
- Authorities, when required by law.
We don't sell your contact details.
6. Public blockchain data
Payouts are sent in USDC on Solana. Blockchain transactions, including your wallet address and payment amounts, are public and permanent. We can't change or delete them.
7. How long we keep data
Waitlist details are kept until launch plus [12 months], or until you unsubscribe. Account details are kept while your account is open and for [period] after, for payment and legal records. Licensed footage is kept for as long as it's part of the dataset, as described in the Contributor License.
8. Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from emails at any time, delete clips before they're approved, and ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data by emailing [privacy contact email]. Depending on where you live, including the EU, UK and California, you may have further rights, such as objecting to processing or complaining to a regulator.
9. Children
Zeth is only for people aged 18 or over. We don't knowingly collect data from children.
10. Changes
We'll post changes here and, for significant changes, tell you by email before they take effect.
