Contributor License Agreement

Last updated October 2026

This agreement applies to every clip you submit to Zeth. It explains what rights you give us when a clip is accepted, and what we promise in return.

1. What you confirm when you submit

  • You recorded the clip yourself, in one take, and it hasn't been edited, trimmed, sped up or taken from elsewhere.
  • Only your hands and the task are visible. No faces, mirrors, reflections or other people.
  • No screens, mail, documents or other readable personal details are visible.
  • You had permission to film in that place, and nothing in the clip infringes anyone else's rights.

2. The license you grant

When a clip is accepted and paid, you grant Zeth a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to store, process, annotate, modify (including blurring and removing audio), combine with other data, and sublicense the clip and anything derived from it, for the purpose of training, evaluating and improving AI and robotics systems.

You keep ownership of your footage. The payment for an accepted clip is full payment for this license.

3. What we promise

  • Audio is removed and faces, screens and readable personal details are blurred before any customer receives a clip.
  • Customers never receive your name, email, phone number or wallet address with your footage.
  • Customers may only use the data for AI and robotics research and development, not for identifying people, surveillance or advertising.
  • Clips that are rejected aren't licensed to customers and are deleted after [30 days].

4. Withdrawing clips

You can delete a clip any time before it's approved. After a clip is accepted and paid, it may already be part of datasets delivered to customers, so it can't be recalled from them. On request, we'll stop including it in new dataset deliveries.

5. If something goes wrong

If a clip turns out to break the confirmations above, we may remove it from the dataset, withhold or reverse payment where possible, and suspend your account.
